Średzka Kolej Powiatowa

A new official website for a heritage narrow gauge railway in Środa Wielkopolska, Poland. The site’s main goal is to promote the railway among potential clients and to provide useful information concerning timetables, ticket prices, and other aspects of railway life.

It’s a WordPress based project, hand-coded in a responsive, mobile-first manner. The design was made by Anna Pawełczyk. It’s weaved around large photos depicting the railway and its attractions. As a tourist-oriented site, it’s well prepared for use on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Minimal, uncluttered design with large active elements makes browsing comfortable and easy, even during a daily commute or other journey.

The admin side features a configurable contact form and is prepared for easy content management, despite not very standard structure of many of the pages.
