Kraina Żywych Maszyn
Kraina Żywych Maszyn (The Land of Living Machines) is my personal site concerning steam locomotives in Poland. This quite an elaborate project includes historical and technical inforamtion, many photos, and a hand-made discussion board. It's based on a PostgreSQL database and uses a dedicated administration panel used for managing some sections of the site, for example the cetegorized photo gallery. Built on the Code Igniter framework. Only open-source software was used to create this site.

Parowozownia Wolsztyn
The official website of the Wolsztyn Locomotive Depot, the last place in Europe where steam locomotives run scheduled trains every day. It's a multilingual site containing information about the depot and it's day-to-day life. Consists both static and dynamic pages, categorized photo gallery, steam train schedule and much more. Plus a dedicated, hand-crafted administration panel to rule them all. The design needed to match PKP CARGO's CI, thus it's not retro-oily-dirty stuff.

About me
They say that one who likes what he does is happy, as he doesn't need to work. Creating usable, visually appealing and search engine friendly websites is one of my passions - the rest are steam engines, photography and african music. I combine work and hobbies with a family life as a husband and a dad - it's quite a challenge sometimes, but some challenge from time to time is one of those things that keep me going...
By the way... I live in Poznań, Poland and currently work for Merix Studio. Shall we meet?
What do I do?
Apart from some other things, I make websites. I make them W3C standards compliant, usable and accessible. And - last but not least - good looking. Need a website? Feel free to contact me.
